Have you been thinking it’s time to go to a recovery center, but you’re a bit nervous about what all it would entail? Did you come to the point where you make your mind up to check it out, yet stop when it seems like it would be difficult? It’s 100% natural and understandable to be nervous about going to recovery and detox. That makes all of the sense in the world, especially when you’re dealing with an addiction. One thing we can tell you, though, is that it’s worth it. Below, we’ve dispelled a few beliefs that we’ve found from talking to our clients.
Once You Make the Call, It’s Easy to Get Started
Making the call to us is the most difficult part. We understand that. So, once you do, we’ll give you what’s called a “Pre-Admissions Assessment.” That’s a lot of words for a less-than-thirty-minute screening of your addiction history, health issues, etc. From there, we collect your insurance information and so forth. Next, we verify it, and then walk you through the copay, payment options, etc, then we get ready for your arrival. It really can be that easy to get started once you make the call.
Detox is Effective (and Not as Scary as You Might Think)
The detox process is one of those things that we’ve seen so many times in TV shows in movies, where someone struggles while tied to a bed, and so forth. That’s really not how it works. Instead, here at Conquer, you’re watched over 24/7 by trained medical professionals. They’ll monitor you very closely, so if any health issues do arise, they’ll be able to help you to feel better as quickly as possible. Now, we cannot tell you that detox will be “easy,” but we can tell you it’s something you can come through feeling better, a challenge you can meet and overcome. We’re always happy to help.
There Are More Treatments Available to Fit Your Needs Than You Might Realize
Some folks put off coming to a facility like ours thinking: “well, what’s it going to be? Therapy and some meetings. Big deal.” However, here at Conquer, we offer far, far more than that. For example, our trained medical professionals put together a treatment plan for your exact, specific needs. Sure, therapy and meetings may be a part of that, but so too will be exercise plans, potentially yoga therapy, and so much more.
